I read on another yoga blog that Uma Dinsmore-Tuli has released three pregnancy yoga videos which are freely available to watch. Each one is about 10 minutes long, and the three are: warm up, main routine, relaxation. They feature three pregnant women each at a different trimester, so you can follow the woman who matches where you are in your pregnancy.
I recommend Uma’s pregnancy yoga teaching, books, CDs and courses. I took her 2-day pregnancy and post-natal yoga workshop last year and found it really informative, interesting and useful. You can find lots of information on her website. I’m really looking forward to her womb wisdom yoga retreat in spring 2012.
You might also like to look at the pregnancy and post-natal handouts I have created which are freely available through the links on here in Google docs.
It’s imperative to explore and understand facts than joining in the herd mentality. Yoga Nidra was the brainchild of Swami Satyananda, and there is no reason why people should doubt it. Especially when very few bother to decipher the truth behind it. If you were a master of yoga, able to read and decipher the ancient texts of nyasa perhaps you could comment.

I have allowed this comment, although it’s nothing to do with pregnancy yoga. I believe you have put this comment here in relation to Uma Dinsmore Tuli and the yoga nidra she teachers and the recent findings into the child and sexual abuse at Satyananda ashrams in Australia. If you are interested in Uma’s position I suggest you read her statement on this situation: http://www.yoganidranetwork.org/article/total-yoga-nidra-and-swami-satyananda-where-we-stand-now
