Sometimes we can get so caught up in the daily routine and rush of things that we forget about the things that never make the ‘to do’ list, like appreciating nature, going for a walk, contacting a friend, doing a favour etc. But these actions can be beneficial for our physical, mental and emotional health and well-being.
Alternative monthly calendar
Since December 2017 Action for Happiness have created alternative monthly calendars which set a daily task which will bring joy or happiness into your life, make you feel better, and possibly make someone else feel better too.
If you haven’t come across them yet, it’s worth having a look at the monthly calendars and making a start on the daily actions. May 2019 is ‘Meaningful May’, designed to focus on doing small meaningful actions and feeling part of something bigger.
The calendars are available in 16 languages, in a black and white version as well as colour, and a text version for use with screen readers.
