This week (11-17th October) is Environmenstrual week in the UK – discussing and promoting environmental approaches to menstruation.
Last year I wrote a detailed blog post with lots of information about alternatives to mainstream period products, many of which have plastic in which end up in the ocean, and so do visit that page to find out more and what all the options are.
This year I have a giveaway for UK based readers (sorry, Britain leaving the EU has made the postal service expensive and a nightmare to try and get something to Europe).
I have a brand new (unused!) boxed sample of the OrganiCup (version B, suitable for someone who has given birth) which I will post to someone in the UK. To be included in the draw, fill in this form and answer the simple question about menstruation alternatives. (If you struggle with the question, read my blog post for the answer!)
Even if you don’t win the giveaway, maybe you will try an alternative such as period pants or reusable pads.
