Autumn 2022 – I have limited availability for online live personal sessions via video conferencing software so that I can see you and provide you with a personalised class. I’m unable to offer in-person 1-2-1 personal sessions at the moment.

Personal 1-to-1 yoga sessions

I offer the following options for personal yoga classes, but if you have a request that doesn’t match anything below do get in touch to discuss it. Sessions are usually 1 hour long, but if you prefer 30 mins or 45 mins that can be arranged. Sessions are conducted online via video sharing such as Skype, Facebook video messenger, and online video sharing software (where no account is required).

What can you expect from a personal yoga class with me?

We will have a chat in advance so I know what you are looking for from the session. Generally the yoga class will start off with some breathing practices, progress through a range of movements, and finish with more beneficial breathing practices and relaxation. Depending on the focus on the class and your requirements I can also provide a handout for things you can practice on your own. If you have booked a block of lessons each class will build on the previous one so you can progress. You wear comfy clothes during the session and by the end of the class will hopefully feel physically better, more relaxed and calm of mind.

Cost: In person one-off class £25/hr; 4 week course £85 (total) in paid for in one payment.

Different type of classes I offer

One-off class/es booked ad hoc

Book this if you want to try a 1-to-1 class without committing to a number of sessions. The level will be adapted to suit your requirements.

New to yoga / beginners 4 week introduction

This 4 week course is ideal if you are new to yoga. I will introduce you to the key elements of yoga, breath work and mindfulness. You will become familiar with a range of movements and poses and learn about various yoga concepts.

Back care basics 4 week course

This 4 week course will introduce you to a range of beneficial movements and practices you can learn to improve back issues such as lower back pain. You’ll also learn useful techniques to help you self manage your condition.

Therapeutic yoga 4 week course

Ideal for anyone looking for a more restorative approach to yoga. The focus will be on postures and movements that calm the body along with healing breathing practices. There will be more use of props e.g. bolster, in these sessions (all provided).

Friends & family 4 week introduction to yoga (couple/friends)

This course is ideal if a couple or 2/3 friends wish to practise together and are new to yoga. Different abilities can be accommodated with modifications given where appropriate. The course will cover the basics of yoga postures, breath work and mindfulness.

Challenger / advanced 4 week course

If you are a yoga student at intermediate level and wish to take your practice further, this course is ideal for you. Based on your requirements the classes will challenge you with a range of more advanced yoga asana, along with pranayama techniques and mindfulness meditation.

Pregnancy yoga 4 week course

When you’re pregnant the body changes and your yoga practice should change too. This 4 week course will provide you with a range of beneficial moves, postures and breathing practices to help you through your pregnancy. Suitable from 12 weeks up to birth.

Post natal yoga 4 week course

After giving birth the body needs time to heal and adapt. This 4 week course will provide you with a range of beneficial moves, postures and breathing practices to help you readjust as well as strengthen and heal the body. Suitable from 12 weeks postpartum.
